hi, I,m Josie, I,m searching for my grandmother,s parent. Her name was Eliza Anne Williams (married to a Charles Dorling in1900 in Hackney.London) Her Father was a John Francis Williams butthe mother,s name is not known. She always said the the family came from South Wales and there wereseveral siblings including a Charlotte (Lottie) and ethel, and I believe several others as they were sent to a home because the mother was unable to cope (It has been suggested the home was inCowbridge but not able to verify this.), I do know her father be came a cab driver in London in the early days of his marriage.Any info would begratefully received. |
