Sorry cant help with the smith inquiry but wondered if you might be able to shed some light on William John Daye born 12/3/1921 in Linlithgow Scotland as he came south to make a new life.

My name is Amanda Smith am trying to find out any information on my grandad...His name was Henry (Harry) Robert Smith born on the 14 aug 1918 in Lambeth.He Married my grandmother Edna Joyce Neale born 24 may 1923 on the 19 oct 1944in High Wybombe Buckinghimshire.My dads name is Neil Smith born 3 feb 1946 and died 3 nov 2002. He moved to Australia not sure what year, which is where we all are now. So if anyone can help please let me know. Thanks!
