searching for Cooper born in Caverswall, Stoke-on-Trent. John 'Jack' Cooper, b.c. 1859 brickmaker, moved to Hanford, Stoke-on-Trent and married Sarah Taylor, bn c.1960 I believe they had 19 surviving children. 15 are known by name to me. Some emigrated to USA/Canada. John & Sarah's son, Samuel, bn 1879 was the first child of this marriage. He married E mily Middleton in 1912. Lived in Hanford. Many Coopers lived in Hanford but so far appear to be unconnected to the Caverswall Coopers. |
