Eduard Morris Eady My Grandfather was James Frederick Morris (1884-1953) who married 1907 to Ruby Ethel Brown (1879-1960). James was a cooper by trade and worked for Watney Mann, brewers of East London. He was the son of John Thomas Morris, also a cooper, who died in Stratford, East London, 1925. His Father, was John Morris (1816- ), who was a cooper in Stepney, East London. John Morris was the son of Henry Hugh Morris (c1788-1853), who was a carter living in St: George in the East, London. Henry Hugh Morris married a lady whose first name was Charlotte, born about 1790 at Newbury, Berkshire. So far have traced 8 members of this Morris family who worked as coopers in the brewery business 1836-1950. |
