Laura Parry Barnes b. Hartshill in1872 married Frederick Walker (b. circa 1864) at St Peters, Stoke on Trent 17th January 1892. 1891 census shows Frederick living in Beresford Street (Hanley?). Laura & Frederick Walker had the following children:- Frederick b. circa1896 - Liverpool. Albert Edward b. 18th August 1897 - Liverpool. d.1922 Burton on Trent. Gladys b. circa 1900 Stoke on Trent. (Poss married Ernest Howard) In 1897 the family lived at 4 Wavertree Vale, West Derby, Liverpool. 1901 Census shows them having moved to Fielding Street, Stoke on Trent. Frederick at the time of his marriage was a Railway Guard and served as a sergeant in WW1 (service details unknown). He later moved to Burton on Trent and was definately in Burton from at least 1922 until 1934 (and possibly later)........ Any help or info on any of the above would be more than appreciated. Many thanks, Barbara |
