Hi. I'm looking for any information concerning my maternal grandfather - Leslie William Carr, born in Kingston-on-Thames - or any of his ancestry. The marriage certificate I have - to Oceana Wolfe, (they split when my mum was a child) - would give his birth as 1900, but the birth certificate I have is unclear and looks more like 1902 (which is the date I did in fact use to get it). Also, his father - Alfred Andrew - was slightly misnamed on the marriage certificate. Other things match, so I think I'm on the right lines. The line goes through a couple of Robert Carrs and back to Norfolk. Regards, Richard |
