Hello, I have two different CARTER families mingled in my tree. I am having the most trouble with Henry CARTER born c1818 Sussex England, he arrived in Australia before 1840, he married Maria MOON. Between 1841 and 1870 they had the following children:--Mary Ann, Harriett, Susan, John George Henry, Henry Thomas, James Henry, Mercy, William, George Wesley, Philadelphia, Louisa jane, Jesse --male, Elizabeth Mary and Rhoda Angelina. The children were mostly born around the Shoalhaven/Wollongong area of NSW Australia. Family names that are associated with the Carters are:-- THORNTON, ORGAN, DUNCOMBE, McNEILLY/McNELLEE/McNELLIE, FRIEDLIEB, IRVINE, ROLLAN/ROLLAND, PARTRIDGE, HUNT and McVICAR/McVICKERS. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated. Julie
