what wrere the names of the 5 'Fowkes' brother???Does the name Annie Fowkes feature anywhere in your searches ? or Leonard Kilby??

My grandmas maiden name was Annie Fowkes. she lived in oakpool gardens leicester and died when I was 13 ( about 1972).
I too am trying to trace any relatives. (one of her daughters- My mums) maiden name was Mann, so I guess Annie Fowkes married a Mann. My mum had lots of family, but I know none except my uncle Len ( died 1993 Bradford) - does any of this match your findings?? Please e.mail back. thanks Gill

hi i am trying to trace any knotts from leicester from around 1923 till now my mum was a knott and they lived wharf streeet and overton road leicester i know there is a lot of family there but i dont know any of them my mums name is edna may knott and her brother is tom knott she had 5 other brothers under the name of fowkes . thanks stacey
