My grandfather Harry was the first to open a shoe shop in Clacton-on-Sea Essex,my father Norman then proceeded to run a shoe repairing business, then gift sho[p in Clacton-on-Sea.I understand there is a famikly of Smiths in Lavenham who spoke to my brother Robert some years ago. I had a scene painted on a piece of wood signed by a B.Smith
