Hello everyone, I am trying to locate my grandfather who is Peter Lawrence Smith, born in Scarborough on September 1924. His father's name is Robert Arthur Smith and was a taxi driver. Peter was married to Stella ( now deceased ) and they had a son called Steven and a daughter called June Elizabeth. When June was about five Stella decided to return to South Africa to visit relatives but never returned to England. Peter and Stella were married in Oudtshoorn while he was stationed in South Africa during the second world war. The last I heard anything about this was that my grandfather (Peter) might be in Australia. I know this is a long shot but any help is appreciated as my mother (June) is not doing well and would like to know if her Dad is still alive before it is too late. Any help is welcome Regards Evelyn Openshaw
