_ WILLIAMS OF LLANGSTENNIN Thomas Williams born 1812/3 father Hugh Wi lliams married Ann Hughes born Tynderfyn Llangwystennin father Hugh HUGHES in 1841 census 1850/1 lived at 85, Tan-yBrynia children--Margaret 10. Rebecca 6. Ann 5.Hugh 3.William 1.and a John Edwards 9 mth's son of a servant girl. From there i seem to have too families with nearly the same identity??? same area living ,same ages of parents but different children does anyone know these William's....The other Thomas Williams who also married an Ann also lived in Llangwystennin i only have the 1860/1 census to go on,Thomas was 46,(quarry worker) Ann 39, Margaret 20 (dressmaker) Elias8, Hannah 7, Emma(my grandmother) age 1. census 1870/1 lived 115, Tan-y-Brynia, Thomas now 57,Ann missing from the census Margaret 30, Hugh 23, Elizabeth 28 (daughter-in-law) William 1mth grandson Emma12,Thomas8,John6, Elias had married Ann Jones around 1874 he died oct 27th 1900. 1880/1 census Thomas (born llandrillo-y-rhos) now 69,Ann(back in)59,Thomas 18, John 16,Mary Ann 12 Mary Ann 12,(where did she come from) Emma (my g/mother) was by now married to John Knowles Roberts & living at Llandudno she was actually the daughter of Mary Knowles of llansanffried who was unmarried and living at Bryn rhys aera with other family members. I want to know what the connection is between the Knowles and the Williams families for Mary to give Emma to them to be brought up as their daughter from her birth in 1860/1 any information at all on this notice would be super. many thanks.
