	Irish Smiths from Co. Carlow (Bagenalstown). Looking for anyone with links to this family. Our grandfather Alfred, bapt. in Bagnalstown where his parents married, served in the RN and his father was in the Army, the family also had links with Rathvilly. Should mention that in at least two census Alfred decided that it was a good idea to give his birth county as Yorkshire but we know better! Pretty long shot but here's hoping! Evelyn
