Hi Christine
Dugdales in Manchester are not common so perhaps we share a link.
My grandmother Elizabeth (Cissy) Dugdale 1895 was the dau of Thomas 1862 and Mary Ellen (Barker) 1864 Thomas was a baker and confectioner.
His father was also Thomas 1827 and mother Sarah 1829 children James 1847, Harriet 1855 (she married a Worth) Ann 1859 and Thos 1862 they werein Hulme in 1861. Stretford in 1881 and Gorton 1891.
Does any of this mean anything to you?
Regards Lynne
