JOHN WILLIAMS born C 1825 CEIRCHIOG, ANGLESEY. He worked for James SIMON at Greenfield Farm, HOYWELL, FLINTSHIRE before he migrated to Australia in 1855 abourd the MARCO POLO to work for the THOMAS family in Tasmania. He came here with EVAN WILLIAMS. Were they brothers? Evan only made it as far as Victoria. We think he may have been caught up in th Goldrush that was going on there. He is shown on the 1851 census for Holywell as living at Tai Coed with his widowed mother ANN He sang before Queen Victoria and was a brilliant harpist. I am planning to return to Wales and would love to find any relatives I still may have there. I have been searching for info about him and his family he left behind in Wales for 17years, to no avail. Hope someone may be able to help. Thankyou in advance
