Looking for the Halls of Battersea and Southwark. Trying to find Grace Hall Born 1825 Blackfriars, London my G.G. Grandmother. Think she was married to Francis Hall, but have no idea of her maiden name and just guess it was Francis she married. In 1871 cencus she is listed as widow, rag dealer living in Battersea. She had five children, Augustus F (Flour/Corn Merchant), Walter ( Marine Stores dealer) and my G. Grandfather, William (Iron Merchant), Alfred (?) and Emily Grace (Nurse). My grandfather Leonard Francis, who was Walter's son, had six siblings - Minnie, Walter, Harriet, Dorthy, William & Grace. He married Lilian Hostler and they had five Children Jane,Shirley,Daphne, John & Michael. My Mother is Daphne. I hope someone knows these Hall and what Grace Hall's maiden name was. Tks Corinna |
