I am tracing my gt grandads family Edward Smith and his wife Rebecca. Children were; Jane, James, Edward, William, Ellen, Selina, Ernest (my grandfather) born 1889 and Rose. All the male members of the family seem to be wood turners and the trade has been passed down. They were from the Market Street area of Crewe, Cheshire. With Smith being such a popular name I am having difficulty getting on the right trail. Any information would be appreciated.
