BIRTH CERTIFCATE "GREEN BETTER KNOWN AS LANDIKIN" My husbands fathers birth certificate said "Green better known as Landikin" on it as the surname. We have been told that it could be Larnakin or something similar and was spelt wrong and others have said it they were gypsies and their marriage was to do we gypsy law and therefore they could not use Landikin/Larnikin/Larnakin and had to use Green, hence we are now all Green's. has anyone got any information about this? Thanks Amanda |
