I am trying to trace any relatives of my grandfather George Clarke. I believe he was born c1871 in South Shields. I also know he had a brother called Jimmy. George worked for many years for Lever Bros. His first wife was Catherine [Kennedy] and their children were Ted[Theodore Patrick], Frank[Francis], Celia - all born in Liverpool. His second wife was Janet Parker from Ayr, Scotland and the two children born to them were Norah 1914 and George 1924. They lived in Ponsenby St. Liverpool. Norah, my mother, went to Notre Dame school and I think she worked for a company called Purax before she married my father Joe Corrigan in 1936. I would be most grateful if anyone could give me any information. Thank you. |
