John Carr born 1802-1805 in Tean Checkley, Staffordshire married Emma Milner Dunn(e) on 21 Aug 1830 at St Giles, Cheadle, Staffordshire. John died before 1851 - details unknown as are his parents. They had the following children: Elizabeth Carr - christened 12 Dec 1830 in Cheadle Hannah Carr - christened 16 DEC 1832 in Cheadle. Mary Carr - christened 19 OCT 1834 in Cheadle. Job Carr - christened 9 OCT 1836 in Cheadle. Jane Carr - born 13 MAY 1838 at the Brassworks, Cheadle and christened 20 MAY 1838 in Cheadle. John Carr - born 30 JAN 1849 in Cheadle Reuben Carr - born 31 DEC 1941 at the Brassworks, Cheadle. Reuben Carr married Sarah Capewell 3 July 1870 at St Johns' Ladywood, Birmingham. After Sarah died on 10th September 1912, he married again, Elizabeth Mary Hill on 19 Dec 1914. He died 29th November 1918. Reuben and Sarah had the following children: William John Carr 12 March 1871 (Possibly married Laura Mary... and had a child, Norman William Carr 1897) Phoebe Elizabeth Carr 28 August 1872 at 1.30pm (married Frederick Henry Hancox 24th December 1893 at Kings Norton Register Office and had two sons, Frederick Charles Hancox on 16 July 1894 and Reuben Hancox on 22nd August 1896. Phoebe died 22nd March 1904.) Emma Jane Carr 28 August 1872 at 2pm (Married Henry Jones, a jeweller on 15 Dec 1894 and had 3 sons - Bertram on 6 Aug 1895, Sydney on 21 Dec 1896 and possibly Frederick in 1899 before being widowed)... Then, Emma married Frederick Henry Hancox on 17 April 1911 and had a son James Edward Hancox in 13th July 1912. Died 18 Nov 1916) Kate Mary Ann Carr born 5 Sept 1876 Sarah Florence Carr born 25 August 1878 Some of the addresses for the Carr Family are: 204 Icknield Port Road, Ladywood 1870-1877 Oak Terrace, Icknield Port Road, Ladywood 1877-1878 4, Back of 300, Heath Street, Smethwick 1881 Census 4 Sandown Place, Heath Street, Smethwick 1891 Census 53 Moilliett Street, Smethwick 1901 Census 5, Back of 47, Unett Street, Smethwick 1918 death certificate Also a possible address for William John Carr Kelvin Drive, Cape Hill, Smethwick in the 1901 Census Could any of these be related to you?
