MY GRANDFATHER WALTER BURTON BORN 12.12.1878 MARRIED ROSE HARRIET JONES AT ST. CLEMENTS CHURCH NECHELLS BIRMINGHAM 3/8/1901. WALTER'S FATHER THOMAS LIVED IN LONG ACRE. (ROSE LIVED IN THE SAME ROAD) BOTH FAMILIES MAY BE OF WELSH ORIGIN. THEIR CHILDREN WERE:- ROSE, LILY, ADA (MY MOTHER), HILDA, DORA, WALTER, ALICE, DORIS, HETTY, MARY, AND LEONARD. ROSE AND HETTY LATER WENT TO LIVE IN LONDON. ANY FAMILY HISTORY REGARDING THE BURTON / JONES LINES WOULD BE GREATFULLY RECEIVED PATRICIA YATES |
