I am trying to find information about my father Harry/Henry (?John) Powell. He lived in Longworth Street, Chorley, Lancs. His mother and father were John and Angelina, he had a sister Alice and a brother John. I think that he was born in 1924 and once worked at Blackburn College. I also think that he served in the Royal and Merchant Navy. His last place of employment was at Courtaulds in Skelmersdale. He married Veronica Thompson amd they had 3 children, Lesley,Tracy and Lisa, the family lived in Ashby St. I think that he died in 1973/4. I am his youngest daughter and I know absolutely nothing about him, apart from these few facts and I'm not even sure if all of them are accurate. I have no photographs of him so I don't not even know what he looks like so any information would be most appreciated. Lisa Powell |
