Just seen this message. I have 136 Heckingbottoms listed, so I think I qualify!! Like Peggy, their source is heavily in Pontefract. Are you still working on these links. Happy to share with you.

Hi Jill, i have Heckingbottoms,in my tree mainly from Pontefract,but some did go to Lancashire.My Grandfather was born in Formby,but they came back to Yorkshire and his father was George WILLIAM.

Hi, trying to find anyone with the surname heckingbottom. this is the surname of my partner jonathan who's mum's name is valerie nee burgess and his deceased father william.
