Hi Kelly, I have a Charles Alexander Tassell c1882 (with sister Amy Louisa c1884) who was briefly married to Jeannette Davis in Fulham in 1915 - he was then an Army pensioner on marriage certificate shown as Charles Alexander age 36. There are three children in that marriage 2 born before and one just after the marriage and they split up about 1918-1920. I could not find any information on him but was helped by GR Records Office who told me he was Alexander Charles and his mother was Margaret (many spellings but no birth record!!), grandfather was Ebenezer and grandmother Jemima who had many children in Kensington, all have birth records. I have been told from 1911 census Charles/Alexander was born in Battle, Sussex and yes there is an Alexander Charles born there but I am not sure if I have the correct family - any match on your side? Regards Hilda |
