Hello all! My name is Chris Bevis, I'm 20 years old and am currently a uni student in liverpool. I'm really interested in finding out where the Bevis' came from so if anyone would like to drop me a line with any information they think might be helpful then it'd be very much appreciated. My Bevis family came from the Burlesdon and Sarisbury area of Southampton - the name Bevis is still known there.

my gmother was Margaret Buckett,dau of George R B ,son of George John B [b 1835] Titchfield, son of William B [b 1804 d 1837 and married Mary Willsher.. had also Mary Ann b 1831, sarah M b 1833 and Matilda J b 1836.. then remarried a Thomas Bailey in 1839 and had further Charlotte,Matilda[m Bevis] ,Isaac,Henry,Stephen,Sarah Ann] ]Titchfield, son of James B [b1770 m Anne..also had James b 1800 who had 10 kids].......my email is [email protected] Tony Smith
] .I must have a lot of half cousins..Mary B nee Willsher sadly died a pauper.
