Member Since: June 2004 Posts: 7 Send Message	Hi Michael, Not been on Genes Reunited for a while so I'm sorry I have taken so long to answer. We don't know where my GGrandad came from in Ireland or when he came over here, but Danny and Daniel is a very strong and prominent name in this family tree. My GGrandfather was Thomas Carty or McCARTY but we undrstand that he eventually dropped the "Mc". Do you think there could be any connection? If so please get in touch as we are desperate to find where Thomas came from in Ireland so that we can carry on with our search. Good luck, Irene.
