I AM TRYING TO FIND THE NAMES OF CHILDREN BORN TO RODERICK AND ELLEN DHU IN AUSTRALIA. ONE OF THEIR CHILDREN WAS A DONALD DHU. THE CHILDREN WOULD HAVE BEEN BORN IN THE EARLY 1900'S. CAN ANYONE ADVISE ME.

My uncle was Donald Dhu - he was married to (Florence) Maude Dhu (nee Cowcher). Her parents were Ernest and Florence (nee Blow). They lived in Sydney, NSW, Australia. Maude was my father Ronald's eldest sister. Their daughter Margaret is my cousin and still lives in Sydney Australia with her siblings and family.

It should be noted there are 2 very distinct arms of the Cowcher family in Australia - one in Sydney and one in Perth (all related back along the way anyway) but they repeated the names obver and over so it makes finding the right one a trick.

I say this because when looking for Florences and Maudes for example- the names are repeated across families.

I also say this because his Australian military records show his father as Frederick Dhu.

His date of birth was listed as 05/03/1927.

you can see it here: https://nominal-rolls.dva.gov.au/veteran?id=29Edward

I hope this helps to try and find the right person.
