She could have been absolutely anywhere in 1939. The war caused countless people to re-locate

name is definately correct, she would have been a barmaid in the early 1940's and she was single at that time. As this site is public I feel I have to be careful what I put on here as there could be family that are not aware of the info that I know.

It's all incredibly vague. Not sure how anyone can help if you aren't prepared/able to give more detail.

Is 'brother' 100% certain of her name? WHEN was she supposed to have been a barmaid? Was she 100% known to have been single at the time?

Have you considered taking out a free trial with one of the genealogy sites and doing some searches?

Hi, wonder if its possible to find a register for a Rowlands family, the only Christian name I have is Marion/Marian. I believe her parents were farmers in Bagoed Wales.
