It is so annoying when a mistake is copied by so many others especially when you can prove the error. You can also never trace who first made that mistake. |

Thanks everyone for your help - Its good to confirm those same records that match my own - its always frustrating when there are details that appear in hundreds of trees, but no source for any of them. Thanks for trying. |

Some of the Ancestry trees claim this is his death - without proof. |

Can't see his death, marriage, or birth , though a tree on FindMyPast has guessed at birth in 1572 - also trees on Ancestry. |

Have you found his burial record, this may have given his age at death, meaning one can estimate his birth year. |

Your post seemed to imply that someone has helped you in the past................reading again, the wording is a touch misleading |

Thanks for your interest - I haven't seen any other threads about this man - are you able to point me in the right direction? That would be awesome - thanks |

Presumably, you have another thread about this man. Better to add to it rather than start a new one |

Thanks for your help with finding a source for the birth of my ancestor James Callender. I have records confirming that he married Margaret Mitchell in Falkirk Stirling Scotland in 1594. Lots of online trees put his birth at 1572 but I can’t for the life of me find any sources to confirm this information. Thanks in advance for your help. |
