Can someone please help me to locate the father and mother of Sarah Ellen Varley.

On the 3rd June 1906 Sarah Ellen Varley married Frederick Horace Ward at St Leonard‘s Woodgate Leicester. At the ceremony she gave her father as George Varley.

I can only find Sarah Ellen Varley in one other Census. In 1901 she was living with her Aunt Emily Worrall (nee Varley)

In 1881 Emily Varley was living with her father in Leeds.

The 1871 census shows that George Varley did have a son George (1868), a potential father for Sarah Ellen. FamilySearch has his place of birth as Slenge Derbyshire which appears to be an error. I can’t find him in any other censuses or marriages.

Any information on Sarah Ellen Varley and her parents would be much appreciated.

You have her as being born in 1886 - she wasn’t - so you can’t have done proper research, sorry to have to say

Please note the birth record for George William 1868 in my last post. (Sarah Ellen's brother - not her father.)
Registered in Belper reg district, which includes Heage.
"Slenge" is a mistranscription of Heage, because of the bad handwriting on the original document.

George William died towards the end of 1871, which (of course) is why he doesn't appear in any other censuses .
