Unless you have the Will, you can’t actually see who benefitted from his Estate. Probate only names the Executor(s) ;-) ;-)

Now heres a little story for you. My partner dug up some bottles in our garden a long while ago and one I found yesterday is embossed Moors Embro. this got me thinking so I looked it up. On Etsy one of the bottles sold for £16 but my one could be older as it has different embossing. It is a pale bluey bottle.

He was born St Anns Chapel Calstock Cornwall to John Moor a Wheelwright and Blacksmith and Mary Elisabeth. William was a Patient of Medicine. I can find him with his parents up to 1881 unmarried. Can't find a marriage to an Isobella abt1850 and his probate leaves £1076.15 shillings to his wife Isobella in 1927.

I wondered if any of you clever ladies can find me anymore info on this couple from 1881 to 1927.

I have tried looking for William Moore and Moor and the same for Isobella.

He's with his grandfather on the 1861 Thomas Moor of Ashwater Devon a Wheelwright.

He's with his parents on the 1871 census John 1836 Calstock and Mary Elizabeth Moor 1837 Beer Ferris, Devon

1881 he is still with his parents a Patent Medicine Vendor abt 1860 Calstock.

I am just curious to find him on other census or even his wife.
