if you go back a page, same address there is a female Stinton. Johnson ...

The 1945 ER for Wavertree have the following at 39 Childwell Park Avenue:
Stinton, Johnson Emily
Stinton, Johnson Bert.

So it looks as thoough their name is Johnson Stinton

added. Looks a though Bert served in the RFA in WW1 and travelled to and from Bombay

That's a good one. As a mining engineer he could have worked all over the world, married and had chidlren anywhere as well.

He's not related to me in any way. I just happened to come across his name while looking for someone else.

His YOB seems to have been changed to 1895.

His name seems mis-transcribed. To me, it looks like Bert Stinton-Johnson.

Or maybe Sturton-Johnson, or something similar.
