	Though this may be his father?? as there is a daughter Cicely named who was baptised 1627 ( also on findmypast) https://www.findmypast.co.uk/transcript?id=GBPRS%2FB%2F741300350%2F1 there's a probate and will for him spelling Skerrett 1669 Haslington on findmypast https://www.findmypast.co.uk/transcript?id=GBPRS/CHS/748087671

	The FMP entry for Cicilia is in Latin. Have you considered searching for John using the Latin name Johannes ? ie same as Cicilia's father's name Can you 100% show that John was born in 1640? ie not the 1640's or 1639, if he was baptised after his birth date. What is the source that lead you to John's YOB? Any Spouse, Sibling, Marriage or Children information?
