Northamptonshire records can be very good. I wonder if this family are on the Bishops visitations.

Added: The family are on the 1564 Visitation which suggests they must have had land and or money. But the OP MUST be very sure that his family trace back as Erika says. It is also worthwhile the OP seeing what the Northants Archives and the Nirthants FHS have on this family.

Added more: interestingly there is plenty of information out there found by googling. A comment on the wiki tree suggests there are difficulties in proving early ancestry.
