Hi. I am trying to find any information or a record of marriage for a, William Thomas (B) Abt 1761 / 1766 Almondsbury Gloucestershire. to a Amy / Amay Thomas (B) Abt 1761 / 1766 also Almondsbury Gloucestershire, unfortunately no maiden name for Amy. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you once again for your help with regards to the other name George Thomas (B) Abt 1816 , which has been appreciated. ,As I had previously said, I am no expert, and the only two possible children's names that I have , being the Edward Thomas (B) Abt 1807 /14 Almondsbury, Gloucestershire. and a possible Sarah Thomas (B) Abt 1797 1801 Gloucestershire, married to a George Knight (B) Abt 1817 Almondsbury, Gloucestershire.

On the 1841 Census in Almondsbury, Gloucestershire. Sarah is with her Father William (B) Abt 1762 /66 Gloucestershire and Mother Amy, (B) Abt 1762 /66 Gloucestershire and with a possible son of Sarah,a George Knight (B) Abt 1817 Gloucestershire. There is also a possible Nephew of William, one Benjn Bracey (B) Abt 1832 Gloucestershire, with his mother being a possible Harriet Thomas (B) Abt 1806 Winterbourne, Gloucestershire married to a Stephen Bracey (B) Abt 1794 Gloucestershire, with that information being on the 1851 Census Almondsbury Gloucestershire.

You seem to be suggesting that Sarah's husband and son were both born c1817...................please check your dates

Thank you for latter excellent information, which does seem to fall in with my research on the Sarah Knight (B) Abt 1798 (Nee) Knight on the 1841 Almondsbury, Gloucestershire Census. I had not been aware of a possible second marriage for the William Thomas.

Sarah KNIGHT on 1851 census was Nee Thomas, as she is described as William’s daughter and is a widow.
