In case they are not deceased, please remove the actual DoB info, to avoid potential identity theft

Click on "Edit" at the top of your post, make the correction, then click "Submit".

I think it's safe to leave William's DOB, as he seems to have died (back in his home area, with same DOB - posted above) -
but Laura's DOB should be removed, as she may still be living.

Just wondering if this is a possibility, because of general area, and age in ER:

Laura V Phillips
in the England & Wales, Civil Registration Marriage Index, 1916-2005
Name: Laura V Phillips
Registration Date: 1993
[May 1993]
Registration District: Macclesfield
Inferred County: Cheshire
Spouse: Barrie Blackburn
Volume Number: xx
Page Number: xxx

Mrs Laura V Blackburn
in the UK, Electoral Registers, 2003-2010
Name: Mrs Laura V Blackburn
Birth Date: 1939-1941 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Residence Date: 2003-2004
Address: xxxxxxx
Residence Place: Stockport, Cheshire, England

At same address in 2003-4: Barrie Blackburn, born c1946.

Also a Dean L Phillips in 2002.

The address was sold in 2006, per Zoopla.

There's a Dean L Phillips at a different address in the same town in Cheshire in 2018-2021 (on GR and 192.com, but not Ancestry) - don't know if he's the same person or not.
Don't know his age.

Assuming he's a son, I can't see a birth in England,Wales or Scotland which would fit with the mother being either an unmarried Phillips, or a Laura of some other surname who married a Phillips.
This leads me to think he may possibly be the son of your Laura, and born abroad.

If the Dean L Phillips showing on the 2021 ER is the same person, you can find his address in the ER - under "Search" at the top right of this page..

Click on the "document" symbol to see the full address.

But maybe you've already done so, and that's how you know about Laura's second marriage?
You didn't mention it in your opening post, so I assume you didn't know about it at that stage.
