Hi, does anyone have the skill to locate a grave, or Cemetery where one would be ??

Try deceasedonline

Get the death cert for the address at which the person last lived.

Then google cemeteries in the vicinity and contact the responsible authorities.

Have you done ANY research?

Yes, googled the town where I was told he was, nothing, whole uk nothing to. Have full name, birth an death date. But nothing coming up.

It so some info would help locate him hopefully

Yes I have the death cert info, will have to order it. Was hoping to fine the grave whereabouts via Google.

For many reasons, it would be easier to help if you gave a name and details. Perhaps he is buried with relatives?

I have had success by contacting the parks and cemeteries dept of the local council giving them the details from the death certificate

Local councils keep excellent records of municipal cemeteries and crematoria

Whoever it is may not even be buried - he may have been cremated.

OR….buried some distance from where he died, as my father was

BUT…….have you actually tried deceasedonline?

It’s somewhat unrealistic to expect to google the location of one individual grave. Info is only online if someone has uploaded it.
