You say she was at 33 Ambrose Street, Bermondsey in 1915 and until her death (1931, I think).

The ER says Matthew Hamilton was living there in 1915 - also in 1914 - with no mention of Caroline:

Matthew Hamilton
in the London, England, Electoral Registers, 1832-1965
Name: Matthew Hamilton
Electoral Date: 1915
Street Address: 33 Ambrose street
Ward or Division/Constituency: Bermondsey
County or Borough: Southwark, England

Matthew Edward Hamilton was still there in 1920, with Maria Hamilton, and Henry King. No Caroline.

Matthew Edward Hamilton
in the London, England, Electoral Registers, 1832-1965
Name: Matthew Edward Hamilton
Electoral Date: 1920
Street Address: 33 Ambrose Street-
Ward or Division/Constituency: Bermondsey and Bethnal Green
County or Borough: Tower Hamlets, England

I only see Caroline at that address in 1930 - and also still the Hamiltons.

In 1923 and 1924 there's a Caroline Peters at 231 Weston Street, Bermondsey - but I don't know if that's her or not.
