I have spent all day trying to find JUDITH KERSHAW WILKINSON b. 1932 in Sculcoates, East Riding in the 1939 register.
Her mother's maiden name was SHAW.
JKW's two younger sisters are HELEN and SUSAN.
Their father's first name is unknown but always known as 'H'. He was a teacher.
So far, I've drawn a blank.
All help gratefully received.

Not all people born after 1915 are on the 1939 register,,,,,If the person has a registered death in England/Wales then it may have been open as a marrter of course by the sites,but if not it will remain a closed record,,as will many who emmigrated and died in another country,unltill such times its deemed impossible that they should still be alive,how long that will be is anyones guess,,

I don't see a marriage, though records show a partner/spouse and probable children..

All very helpful and all very good and thank you all round.

I had been at this all evening too and got a hunch about the 'H' lead and discovered it was indeed Haley with his sister's giveaway middle name. So very helpful of them!!

PS: Wilkinson/Tweed were married abroad.
