Please could someone taken a look at an article in the Newbury Weekly News dated 27th Feb 1890 about a ? Goddard aged 82 (possibly Mary and something to do with her death) and if possible send me a copy.

TIA

Thanks, I now have the article from the Berkshire Chronicle so only need the Reading Mercury one which doesn't seem to be available via the Gale Group Newspapers. So if anyone can send this one I would be very grateful

I have downloaded both articles for you but I'm not very computer literate (I can just do what I'm used to). I will get my son to send them to you on a pm when he comes in later today if no one else can help.

It says she was one of 21 children and had 15 of her own children so a very big family.

I have saved the article but cannot post it. If you can PM me your email address I can mail it to you. It is the Berkshire Chronicle one

If you have a local library card you can access Gale Group Newspapers by using your library number. The article is on there but I am not able to copy and paste. Was there something specific you wanted to know from it?

Thanks Erika, I live in hope that someone has a full subscription though!

Not the articles, I'm afraid, as their access requires an inflated subscription
