Marriage certificate details?

I have a marriage certificate dated 01/01/1861 for a marriage at St Phillips Church, Manchester.
The groom is George Massey- Baker
The bride is shown as
Margaret Booth, spinster, 22, her father as James BOOTH , Fine Spinner.
I can find no trace of her birth registration. Nor James Booth in any census.
He appears in Slaters Trade Directory for Manchester 1863 as of 10 Smith Street Ancoats - a Spinner.
And in the Poor Rate Tax books at that address for 1858-63.
Margaret dies in September 1872 and is buried in Ardwick cemetery. aged 32 born 1840.
She therefor only appears on 2 census returns 1861 & 1871. In 1861 she is entered as Marshall Masley, but is correct in 1871 with her place of birth shown as Manchester .

Any suggestions on how to track records that might show James Booth the Spinner. There are several who have linked him to a shoemaker, but this man is also on the same page in Slaters. So obviously more than one of this name in the area..

Thank you
