Hi can someone see if they can find this family for me.

George J Long and his wife Ivy nee Wylie. I am not sure where they were living at the time but it could be Trowbridge or South Stoneham.

They had a son called George D. A Long born 1921 in South Stoneham.

Thank you for your help.

Any idea of birth years for the parents

If George junior death hasn’t been picked up he could still be a closed record

Jane Report 6 Nov 2020 14:07

I have just found a possible birth for his dad George James Long in 1906 in S.Stoneham.

This means he should also be on the 1911 census.

Thanks Shirley

Thanks Shirley and Maddie

I do not know this family. I have just been given their National id cards and ration books. I thought I would see what I could find out about them.

You would need to buy his marriage or death cert to find that out - which you probably don't want to do, as he's not your relation.

About moving addresses. My brother had lived in about twenty addresses before age of two, because parents were renting and life was like that. That was post war years
