Jane born Kirkby Hill (also known as Kirkby on the Moor) near Boroughbridge in Yorkshire 1801, father George. Married at Topcliffe by Thirsk 26 April 1830 to Thomas Wass. Three children: William 1831; Rachel 1832 & Christopher 1836. Thomas died 1839. 1841 three children are with paternal grandmother Rachel Wass aged 80 in Topcliffe. Where is Jane ? Have tried burials, deaths, marriages with no luck/success.

	Her death in 1836 is on FMP - at Topcliffe with Dalton aged 32

Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 99 Send Message	I'm on ancestry too which is why can't find that death. It fits apart from actually age which would have been 35 but possible. maybe died in childbirth - Christopher born 1836. Thank you no nasty skeleton there then!
