Hello I wonder if someone could help me find a JOHN LAKE on the 1939 register

John Lake born 1930 in St Helens Lancashire to Thomas Lake and Lily Meredith

I have the 1939 register but John isn't with his family

Any help would be very much appreciated

Is his death was after 1939 and hasn’t been picked up/ notified he will NOT be on the 1939 register

Do you know that he would have been alive in 1939?

he died this year 2020
would he not have been on the register but his name blacked out in that case as in this record officially closed

So he must have been elsewhere on the day the register was compiled.

There’s no closed records so he isnt redacted

Maybe he was elsewhere ie with other family or in hospital

Did you have his actual dob

Ahh seeing your latest post his record would still be closed wherever he was

Keep checking the Register at intervals - his record will eventually be opened.
