Edith Long was born 22nd April 1878, Frome, I have the certificate. Our family still has living memories of this aunt, but after 1939 little is known of her.
I would like help because, I cannot pinpoint her death. Although born as Edith, she was baptised as Edith Mary 18.1.1879 St. John Baptist, Frome.
in 1891 she is found admitted as living with 1) her mother and family ...
and at the same census with 2) her aunt in .... Kessingland, Mutford,

After the death of Jane Weston above, it would seem Edith married her cousin James Weston, (no cert)

1939 - 65 Gladstone Road, Chigwell, Essex
Weston, James d.o.b. 29 Oct 1866 auxillary postman, retired.
Weston, Edith M, d.o.b. 23 april 1877 (1878 really)unpaid domestic duties

After this the family loses contact. It looks like James Weston died age 87 marQ 1954 Essex. I cant really pinpoint Edith Weston's death.

Perhaps she married again Edith M Weston, at Thurrock Essex. 4a 1971
Edward L. S. Wright in March 1963.
if she died as Wright.. perhaps this death Edith Maud Wright in 1970 b.y. 1878 1Q, Epping.

I cannot find an Edward L.S. Wright or similar in census records or birth records in England and Wales, nor a death for him, therefore the whole thing is conjecture, and i'm not sure where to go from here.

Can anyone help further. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately there are a couple of possible deaths of women named Edith M Weston, born c1877-79 according to the death records.

As well as the one posted by ErikaH, there's one in 1965 in Richmond upon Thames.

There are also these with no middle name:

Uckfield 1968; Islington 1948

Waltham Forest - the one I posted - is geographically 'right' and the age would fit with an April 1878 birth

OP says Edith born 22 April 1878. So she would have turned 89 on 22 April 1967 and still be 89 when she died on 31 December 1967. Death registered Mar Qtr 1968

That is her, as everything fits, and I expected a death around Buckhurst Hill.
