Not sure about this one but in 1851 census there is a Thomas Harvey living at a hotel in Covent Garden as a lodger with a lot of other lodgers. This is only a few miles from where Sarah is living. He says he is a widower but they could have just separated. His occupation is given as Merchant but the person above him is said to be a Civil Engineer. I just wondered if they might have got the occupations mixed up.

I know this is a lot of if's and but's but I can't find a death that looks like him.

Hi
I have been trying to find his death record but to no avail
Married 1827 to Sarah White

had 4 children
Harriett Matilda Harvey
1835–1888

1829–1905
John Harvey

1830–1856
William Dunning Harvey

1834–1917
George Harvey

Thomas was an engineer and appears to have other busiiness interests but in 1846 he was declared bankrupt. There are several articles on this.

Sara is a widow in 1851 living in islington and thereafter with her daughter Harriett.

Thomas just diappears after 1846 although he is mentioned in the wedding annoucements of Williams and Harrietts weddings, he is not mentioned as deceased.

Any help appreciated
thank you
Maddie
