We always thought they were all painters. Maybe he was too ill to do such manual work. |

Just out of interest Deborah, what was John C L Lynn's address when he married in 1929? |
|||

AustinQ | Report | 12 Feb 2018 09:08 |
Yet in 1905 and 1907, John and Margaret Lynn, William's parents, were both buried with a large headstone in McGarel Cemetery Larne. |

Oh dear, his Mum Mary Lynn, the one we are really looking for was buried in an unmarked grave along with 6 others. This is so sad. |

Looks like Belfast City cemetery. No grave number, maybe if I write to them they will be able to tell me. |

I have had another thought, it goes back to the reason I wrote to you in the first place. |

This may be nothing, but you did say any little snippett may help, but my Grandmother May Lynn, wife of J C L Lynn (who was son of Mary Lynn) forbid any of us from researching the 'Lynn' family. She was livid with her daughter Doreen Crosby nee Lynn ( my dads sister) for trying to so it was left. No one argued with her. |

Yes Deborah, they certainly look to be different people and it seems,from different branches of Campbells (Or at least they are not closely related). |

Lol- I've got things to do as well! I couldn't sleep last night for thinking about this family. |

Deborah | Report | 11 Feb 2018 09:37 |
Its looking possible that there are 2 Mary Campbells, unrelated. I wish I could do what you do, I would be on it 24/7. I nearly am now. |

So, just taking a look at the 1901 census, we are looking for a Mary Campbell, born c1866 in Antrim, with father William. |
|||
|
AustinQ | Report | 11 Feb 2018 09:16 |
There is nothing to say on the 1911 that the Mary Campell born c1856 is related to the Lynns. The Lynns are just recorded as boarders. The Lynns are Presbyterian, and Mary and her son Patrick are RC. |

(is there anywhere you can see anything 'Electoral' wise, might give more of an idea who is who at 'Coopers Lane', over the years?...(seems to be popular, Campbell, and looks like they need 'sortin' also!) |

With reference to the above. We did wonder if there were 2 Mary Campbells in the family because when we looked closer at the 2 census's we noticed this; |
