I'm hoping I can get a little more on James W Hardie all I've got is his name not sure on his DofB or where this is what I have

He married Jane Ann Robinson nee Hornby in 1946 Manchester it was Jane's second marriage, they had a son Tony 1947 they lived on Hamilton Street Ardwick Manchester 1950 not sure when they moved but lived at Hamilton st for quite a few years.
James served in WW2 in Tobruk was taken prisoner escaped a few time then was moved to Germany he had a pension

if anyone can give me any clues as to finding info as it's 1945 records aren't released to view as this is sideways (my aunt & uncle) I don't want to buy certificates and I'm not in touch with my cousin
