I am researching an Edward Glover born 1816 in Nottinghamshire, who married a Mary Parker - he had many children but my link is with his son James. |

According to other family trees on ancestry he married her 5th oct 1835 in Nottingham but I can't find a marriage index to confirm this. |

Oh didn't know that.. still he's meant to be 35 in 1851 which is a large gap from 19. It's very odd. |

Yeah well I thought that but according to other trees those are his parents ... maybe I shouldn't be so quick to trust them? |

Don't think that 1861 census is them as that Edward is a mechanic |

I believe that's the case, safc, I've tried all sorts of combinations to try to find the family in 1851. |

ahhh ok yes that could be a possibility then if they were living in Manchester during 1850s |

I do believe that the 1861 IS them even though Edward is marked as a mechanic as both William and Sarah J were born in Lancashire and their baptisms show Edward as a Joiner : |
