Mother: Iris Mildred Lily Haskett - 12/4/1902, Sturminster, Dorset
Marriage: 27/8/1927 West Bradley, Somerset
Marriage Certificate shows:
Groom: John Edwin Veale, Bachelor age 33
Father: William Veale - occupation Gentleman
Witnesses: Elsie, Edith, Maud Haskett and William Lewis Turner

I could find nothing to match these facts, hence my appeal for help. But, from you much appreciated details I've been able to piece together some of what I believe to be her family -

The marriage to iris was as John e, so where do you get his full name from?

I thought by 1927 they'd got out of that habit!

Anyway, the NZ one, the carpet planner, married isabella Robinson in 1917, was on electoral rolls until 1935 and died in 1938 in NZ.

Perhaps the marriage certificate just said "full age".

It may help to know if he was single, widowed or divorced.
