The Registers for The Diocese of Kerry also cover the West of Cork and some go back to the 1700s and the Marriage and Baptisms for James Gilbert and Margaret Sullivan are there but its diffcult to make out where they were from....although they are pretty easy to read...its deciphering the townland the couple were from that often a problem... |

Sylann ... again ... if you get the 1840 marriage certificate you will know whether it was your Johanna or not by the father's name ... there really is not a way around this |

Given Scottish naming patterns, I would guess that the two young Hectors in the 1841 are grandsons of the older Hector. |

there are a couple of John Munro's born in Scotland down in the Plymouth area in both 1841 and 1851, living in Army Barracks |

I wondered the same ... couldn't find any confirmed sighting between 1851 and then (there is one in Scotland in 1861, nephew of a May Munro, but the other names don't fit) |
